Eddie was the guitarist, keyboardist, backing vocalist, and primary songwriter of the rock band Van Halen.
He was a member at the Lakeside golf course in Essex which had members as notable as Frank Sinatra and Jack Nicholson.
Eddie Van Halen enjoyed playing pro-am golf events. Some of his pro golfer friends were Mark O'Meara, Tiger Woods and John Daly.
He was even given John Daly guitar lessons in return for some golf coaching.
