With eight runner ups in Majors his win count, unfortunately, is much lower.
Answer
Greg Norman has won 2 Majors. Both were British opens, the first in 1986 the second in 1993.
More about Greg Norman's Major wins
Greg Norman would likely look back on his 1986 year in major tournaments with a mix of pride and regret. He led going into the final round in all four majors - no small feat – but, of the four, was only able to win the British Open.
It would be fair to say Norman had some bad luck in Majors along the way. The most memorable would be when Larry Mize chipped in from near 50 yards off the green on 11 to win the second play-off hole against Norman in the 1987 masters.
In total he has won 89 professional tournaments around the world after turning professional in 1976 at the age of 21.
