He was Player of the Year on the 2018 Web.com Tour.
Sungjae Im won his first US PGA Tournament, The Honda Classic, in March 2020. His total score was 247 (-6). Runner up was Mackenzie Hughes 1 stroke behind.
He won the 2021 Shriners Children's Open with a total score of 260 (-24). Runner up was Matthew Wolff 4 shots behind.
