Ángel Cabrera was born on 12th November 1969 in Córdoba, Argentina.
His nickname is "El Pato" in Spanish ("The Duck") because of his waddling gait.
At the age of 10 Cabrera was a caddy at the Córdoba Country Club.
He first qualified for membership of the European Tour in 1996.
Ángel Cabrera won the US Open in 2007 and the Masters Tournament in 2009. He was the first Argentine and South American to win either of the two tournaments.
Ángel Cabrera also lost the sudden death playoff at the 2013 Masters against the Australian Adam Scott.
Angel Cabrera has 41 international victories and played in 4 Presidents Cups.
