Mizuno started manufacturing golf clubs in 1933.
After watching his first baseball game, Rihachi Mizuno from Osaka Japan and his younger brother opened their own baseball equipment shop in 1906. Originally they sold western products.
In 1913 they began to manufacture their own baseball equipment to improve quality and performance.
The first golf products in 1933 were named Starline.
The products were originally manufactured in a small factory near Osaka, Japan.
In the 1970s’ Mizuno started to export its golf clubs to Europe.
Mizuno is one of the world's leading golf iron forgers.
