Webb Simpson went to Wake Forest University
Simpson played golf for Wake Forest University on an Arnold Palmer Scholarship. During his time in college, he competed on winning Walker Cup and Palmer Cup teams. Webb was a 3-time All-American and was named the ACC Player-of-the-Year in 2008. Simpson turned professional in late 2008.
