Sungjae Im was born in South Korea and turned professional in 2015. He competed on the Japan Golf Tour for a few years before being the Web.com player of the year in 2018. Sungjae has been a staple on the PGA tour ever since.
Most professional golfers take off some weeks, but not Sungjae. He loves tournament golf. He has talked about not buying a home, because he simply enjoys travelling every week to play in tournaments.
Still early in his career, Im has 1 PGA victory (2020 Honda Classic) and is looking for more success in major championships.
