Tiger Woods won his "Tiger Slam" by holding all four Major titles at the one time (but not in the same year). Which tournament and year was his fourth Major win in a row to give him the Slam?
As it wasn’t in the same year you can exclude the US PGA Championship from your thinking.
Answer
Winning the 2001 Masters gave Tiger his very own Tiger Slam.
More facts about the Tiger Slam
The Masters win didn’t come easy. Tiger made bogey at the 1st in the final round and after David Duval birdied 10 he joined Tiger in the lead. Come the last hole Tiger needed par to win. He birdied in true Tiger fashion.
All four courses in the Tiger Slam were indisputably great tests of golf; Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, Valhalla, and Augusta.
There has been another golfer to hold all four majors at the one time – Bobby Jones in 1930. But that was a different era – and a different Slam - as he held the British Open and British Amateur, the US Open and the US Amateur.
