What is the LIV Golf Invitational Series Playing Format?

There are 12 Teams, 48 Players and 58 Holes. There are 7 regular events and 1 Team Championship event.

To ensure faster round playing times there are shotgun starts. There are no cuts.

Regular Season Events

Each event will be two simultaneous competitions, an individual and team event.

The individual competition is stroke play over 54 holes. The individual player with the most ranking points after the 7 regular events will be the season's individual champion.

Team event scoring: Over the first two rounds, the best two stroke play scores will count for each team. For the third and final round, the best three scores will count, with the lowest overall team score after 54 holes being named the team winner.

Team Championship

The Team Championship will be the 8th and final event of the season. This will be a seeded four-day, four-round, match play knock-out.
