Jim Furyk shot an incredible 58 on the PGA Tour during the final round of the Travelers Championship at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut on August 7, 2016.

TPC River Highlands is an exclusive private golf club and part of the Tournament Players Club network operated by the PGA Tour. Since 1984 it has been the venue for the annual Travelers Championship.

The course is par 70 and 6,841 yards (6,255 m) long.

In his round of 58 Furyk hit all 18 greens in regulation, made 10 birdies and one eagle and needed just 24 putts.

Furyk is also the first player to shoot two rounds below 60 and he was the oldest to do it. He was 46 years old at the time.

Did you know that Furyk's playing partner, Miguel Angel Carballo, mistakenly marked him down for an additional birdie on the par-4 14th. Furyk made a par. Luckily they found the mistake before signing and turning in the scorecard. If they hadn't corrected the mistake he would have been disqualified.
