Sophia Popov won the AIG Women's Open 2020
The AIG Women's Open 2020 was held 20-23 August 2020 at the Royal Troon Old Course in Scotland.
Sophia was born on October 2nd, 1992 in the United States. She holds dual citizenship and moved to Germany at a young age. In 2010 she won the International European Ladies Amateur Championship and turned pro in 2014.
Sophia, playing -7, won the AIG Women's Open 2020 2 shots ahead of runner up Thidapa Suwannapura and 4 shots ahead of third Minjee Lee.
