Si Woo Kim was born on the 28th of June 1995 in Seoul, South Korea.
He went to Yonsei University.
He turned pro in 2012 at the age of 17.
Kim made his professional debut in 2011 and played on the Korean Tour, where he achieved several notable performances and victories. His early success in South Korea helped him gain recognition on the international stage.
Si Woo Kim won his first PGA tour event, the Wyndham Championship, in 2016. This victory was significant as it made him the youngest South Korean to win on the PGA Tour at the age of 21.
Kim won the Player’s Championship, one of the most prestigious events on the PGA Tour in 2017.
In 2021 Kim won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. He also won the Sony Open in Hawaii in 2023.
In 2022, Kim was selected for the International team in the 2022 Presidents Cup where he won three and lost one of the four matches he played.
