The Presidents Cup 2022 was held September 19–25, 2022 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Quail Hollow Club is a private member club, founded by James J. Harris in 1959.
Quail Hollow was originally designed by golf course architect George Cobb and opened in 1961.
The course underwent a series of improvements over the years including modifications of several holes by Arnold Palmer in 1986 and a redesign by Tom Fazio in 1997.
From 2014 to 2016 additional changes were made in preparation for the PGA Championship in 2017.
For the Presidents Cup in 2022 the courses was rerouted to suit the matchplay format better.
