More about the Kapalua Plantation Course

The Plantation Course opened in 1991.  It is consistently ranked as the number one golf course in Hawaii.  The course affords dramatic backdrops of the ocean and the West Maui Mountains on many of the holes.  The lengthy 7,596 yard par 73 layout has a slope rating of 144.

The firm of Coore and Crenshaw are highly sought after course architects around the world.  Six of their courses, Sand Hills, Cabot Cliffs, Friar's Head, Shanqin Bay, Barnbougle Lost Farm, Old Sandwich and Bandon Trails were rated either in Golf Digest's World's 100 Greatest Golf Courses in 2020 or America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses in 2021.
