Abraham Ancer has 3 professional wins under his belt but is yet to pick up his first Major.
Abraham Ancer was born February 27, 1991 in McAllen, Texas and raised in Reynosa, Mexico. He has dual Mexican and American citizenship.
He played his college golf at Odessa College and also the University of Oklahoma before turning professional in 2013.
Winning the Australian Open in 2018 was a significant step in his career, followed up with the 2021 WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Ancer earned his way on to the Internationals team for the 2019 Presidents Cup where he came away with an impressive 3-1-1 record.
With a T8 in the 2021 USPGA Championship his first Major win may come sooner than some think.
