The Icons Series is a golf event where iconic American athletes representing Team USA compete against iconic international athletes representing the Rest of the World.
So far there are only three PGA Tour players who have had two holes in one in the same round. They are: Bill Whedon at the 1955 Insurance City Open, Yusaku Miyazato at the 2006 Reno-Tahoe Open and Brian Harman at the 2015 The Barclays
The top 15 ranked players at the end of the qualifying periods were eligible for the Olympics, however there was a limit of four players in each competition from any given country. Beyond the top 15, players were eligible based on the world rankings, with a maximum of two eligible players from each country that did not already have two or more players among the top 15. The host country was guaranteed a spot, as were each of the five continental regions.
