The Royal County Down Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland.

It has two 18-hole links courses, the Championship Course and the Annesley Links.

The Championship Course measures 7,186 yards (6,570 m) from the back tee. In 2018, the Championship Course was ranked as the best course in the world by Golf Digest.

The Club has hosted many important tournaments, starting soon after it opened, and continuing to the present day.
