The Real Club Valderrama was first opened in 1974 and was originally known as Las Aves (The Birds).
The Par 71 Championship Golf Course measures 6418 metres from the professional tees and was designed by Robert Trent Jones.
The course has been consistently ranked as number 1 in Continental Europe since the late 80’s and has been included in the Top 100 in the World since 1990.
Valderrama has hosted: the Volvo Masters, the 32nd Ryder Cup in 1997, World Golf Championships in 1999 and 2000, Andalucía Masters and more.
