Lee Westwood has never won a major championship
Lee Westwood won his first professional tour event in 1996 and has been playing well ever since. He is one of only a few golfers to have won on 5 different continents (Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Oceania (Australia). Westwood has also won in 4 different decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s).
Lee Westwood did reach #1 in the world golf rankings back in October of 2010 and was there again in April of 2011.
Westwood has been a consistent performer for Europe in the Ryder Cup. He has been close in several major championships but has never been able to hoist the trophy.
