Collin Morikawa has experienced success early in his professional career. He played in his first PGA tour event in 2019 and made 22 consecutive cuts. Only Tiger Woods has more to start a playing career.
Before turning professional, Collin did plenty of winning as an amateur. He won 5 college events while competing for the University of California, including the PAC-12 championship.
He won his major championship (2020 PGA Championship) in only his second major event. He was the third youngest player to ever win the PGA.
Collin Morikawa won the 2021 Open Championship at Royal St. George's Golf Course with a score of (-15) two shots ahead of runner up Jordan Speith.
